The FMH specialists in gynaecology and obstetrics continue to treat their patients as usual. In addition, this practice allows continual, networked care, especially for surgical procedures, fertility treatments, and during pregnancy consultations.
The Gyné network
Gyné is an association of specialists that offer medical expertise for women in the fields of gynaecology, obstetrics, and reproductive medicine. The goal of this cooperation is an exchange of information among specialties, cooperative operation including quality assurance and joint representation of interests toward private hospitals and payors. The physicians at Gyné fulfil the highest requirements of professionalism, empathy, and dedication.
In addition to primary gynaecological and obstetric care, surgical gynaecological procedures have developed as our focus and special interest over the years. The procedures have evolved from the traditional spectrum of surgeries via abdominal incision or vaginal access into laparoscopic or ‘keyhole surgeries’. My special interest in this context is endometriosis, minimally invasive hysterectomy, and infertility.
We are also delighted to support our patients throughout their pregnancies up to childbirth in the Hirslanden Hospital of Zurich. The motto of our practice is competence, safety, sensitivity, and dedication to our patients. For the sake of continuity, we would like to offer outpatient and inpatient services ‘from one provider’, meaning that your gynaecologist will care for you during surgery and childbirth in the general practice hospital, and will be responsible for you there around the clock. This very popular service is available either with supplementary hospital insurance (private or semi-private) or with an upgrade (see the offerings from the Hirslanden Hospital - privacare).
